A Guide to the Good, Green Life
It's Easy Being Green!
Living a more environmentally friendly life is as easy changing a few of your everyday habits. Plus, once you see how much green you're saving, you'll want to step it up even more.
To start, here are 3 easy things you can do:

1. Switch to CFC Light Bulbs
If every American changed just one of their most frequently used light bulbs to a Compact Flourescent Light Bulb, it would be like taking 1.2 million cars off the road—for a year!
What's in it for you? Change five of your most frequently used bulbs and you'll save $80 a year in energy costs. The more bulbs you replace, the more you save!

2. Bring Your Own Bag
Every five seconds, the U.S. alone uses 60,000 plastic bags. Worldwide, only 1% of plastic bags are recycled.
What's in it for you? Some stores, such as the chain Whole Foods, offer you a credit (5 cents) for each bag you bring! Ikea's credit is a quarter per bag!
3. Bring Your Own Bottle
If 10,000 people gave up bottled water for a mounted faucet filter, the savings over five years would be 1.3 million.
What's in it for you? Some coffee shops give you a credit (at Starbucks it's 10 cents) when you use a reusable drink container or travel mug!
